First of all I´d like to say it´s been a while since my last post, I´m sorry for that. I had a lot of other things to do so I wasn´t able to update this blog.
This iPod was meant as a Christmas gift from my parents. It was on sale at a local electronics store. Unfortunately they ordered it at their webstore. Apparently a lot of people bought it at the same time so we had to wait about four(!) weeks to get it delivered. 2012 had already begun.
Anyways, here’s my review:
The contents of the package
It comes in a pretty nice case, which you can use when you want to keep it in a safe place. It also comes with a data/charging cable and a pair of earphones. Unfortunately there wasn’t a charger inside.
First bootup
When I booted it up for the first time I was amazed by the screen quality. It’s the best screen I have ever seen! It’s far better than the iPad 1 I have. When I went through the setup, I was able to see the home screen for the first time. I immediately started downloading some apps to see the power this device gives. I also copied some music and video’s from my computer to it. The speakers are really good quality. I have an iPod nano 5G lying around somewhere, but that sound quality is kinda bad when you turn the volume up.
Buttons
The buttons on the iPod are also very efficient and easy to use.

Touch screen
The touch screen is just amazing. Unlike other phones/tablets where you have to push hard to make it respond, the iPod Touch just works when you barely touch it. This is really great.
The back of the iPod
The only thing I worry about is the back of the iPod, which is made of stainless steel. I already noticed some scratches on the back. I suppose that happens really easy.
iOS 5
Something I really like about iOS 5 is the notifications screen which shows up by sliding from the top of the screen to the bottom. You can see any missed calls (iPhone) and messages. Something else I really like is the FaceTime function. I use it frequently when I have to call someone who has an iPhone/iPod/iPad. Also, a lot of things work smoother in iOS five.
